Over generations, the women of the Indigenous community of Palma Real have developed their own method and style of basket-making. Though their community is part of the larger Ese Eja Indigenous group, the tradition is unique to this community, where the weavers take great pride in the artistry they have created.

Joyous and colorful, these baskets are not easy to create. The weavers go out on week-long scouting trips to collect the tamshi fiber. Once it's been processed by hand, they use natural plant dyes to give the reeds their bright colors. Only then can they weave the baskets, working  early in the morning and late at night, as the heat in the jungle dries the fiber during the day, making it too brittle to use.⁣

The Shower Caddy adds instant fun to your shower experience, plus the always-necessary benefit of organizing all your bottles and shower accessories. The tamshi fiber is waterproof and ready to take on even the longest and steamiest of showers.
